October 12, 2026: PAT creation moved from a dialog to its own page
View as MarkdownGenerating a Personal Access Token (PAT) now happens on its own page instead of in a dialog on the Personal Access Token page. The new page also lets you clone an existing token's settings as a starting point for a new one.
What changed
Select Generate Token to go to the new Generate Personal Access Token page. The fields are renamed to match: Token Name, Expires After, and Permissions (previously Name, Expiration, and Scopes). Use the new bulk selectors to specify multiple similar scopes instead of one by one. Select Create Token to finish, the same way you previously selected Generate Token in the dialog.
Revoking a token also changed. Next to the token, select the actions menu (⋯), then select Revoke, instead of selecting a trash icon.
Who is affected
Anyone who generates or revokes a PAT in the Developer Portal. The underlying token format, scopes, and API behavior are unchanged — only the generation and revocation UI moved. No code changes are required for existing integrations.
Existing tokens are unaffected by this change; only the creation of new tokens.
